On the Campaign Trail

Lunch at Woody's Diner in LeRoy! Met a lot of great folks at the Heritage Christian Forum in Decatur tonight!
A big thank you to Lisa Gregory for introducing me to so many nice Decatur people. Team Keith (my wife Kathy and daughter Kristy) out collecting signatures and making new friends in LeRoy!
My wife, Kathy, at the LeRoy Oktoberfest. Visiting good friends Dave & Mary Sherman at their business, Sherman Small Engine Repair in Mansfield.
I could not have asked for a nicer day to spend at Allerton Park meeting with Senator Rose, Chancellor Jones and local leaders. We're in!

Thanks so much to my family and friends who joined us this morning for our announcement!
Another good day spent in Macon County yesterday meeting lots of friendly people. David Wilhour, Decatur Herald & Review's Citizen of the Year, for graciously spent the day introducing me to several people in Mt. Zion and Decatur. I met the Chief of Mt. Zion fire department and some of his staff. These are true heroes that protect our communities. Had lunch in Mt. Zion and then met with some of Catepillar’s employees at the plant. Very impressed with the BIG TRUCK! Great evening with Rodney Davis & fellow Republicans in Monticello!
Enjoyed lunch at JP Cool’s in Mansfield while on the campaign trail this weekend. Visiting with Lisa Floyd, Blue Ridge Township Supervisor, and her husband Dave, a farmer at the Dewitt Co. Republican Fall Bash.
Met a lot of nice folks in Macon County today! At the Dewitt Co. Republican Fall Bash with Erika Harold, who is seeking the Republican nomination in the Illinois Attorney General election.
Visiting with state rep Brad Halbrook of 102nd district. Enjoying talking with Sue Grant, president of Macon County Republican women.
It's announcement day! Randy Keith for State Representative! The Gang's all here! Well not quite... but sure do appreciate the great support from my family at the Farmer City parade.
Cast Your Vote For Keith! *get it?* :) Even the grandkids braved the cold to rally support for Papa... the candy was just a bonus!
Thanks for your support Senator Rose! Visiting with long-time friends Jim Ayers, Piatt County Republican Chairman, and Renée Fruendt, Piatt County Board member, and new friend
It's announcement day! Randy Keith for State Representative! It’s hard not to smile when I get to spend time with Jim Ayers, Piatt County Republican Chairman.

The Monticello Holiday Parade was one for the books! It was a gorgeous day and Team Keith was out in droves drumming up support, showing off Ellie the Elephant, and even showcasing some dance skills to get some laughs. A great way to kick off the month of December! The Monticello Holiday Parade was one for the books! December 2nd was a busy day, with the Monticello Holiday Parade in the morning, and playing Santa for the Mansfield United Methodis Church in the afternoon. I always enjoy seeing the smiles on the little one's faces when they see Santa for the first time each season. Ho Ho Ho! Some of Santa's best helpers are in Mansfield!
Before the busy day got started on Dec. 2, I fueled up with a delicious breakfast before 7 am at the Cisco Legion! Had a nice evening with McLean County Sheriff Jon Sandage and Rep. Dan Brady at the McLean County Christmas party.
Randy got up at the crack of dawn to greet people waiting in lines for the stores to open in Forsyth. Brought lots of candy to hand out, and they must have all had their coffee because there were smiles all around. A few of the Happy Campers waiting for the stores to open on Black Friday in Forsyth.
I always learn something new when I attend Mahomet’s Republican breakfast. What’s wrong with this picture? No deer to be found! Sat for hours waiting to see a deer, but only saw four squirrels and a rabbit. Maybe next year!
Met a lot of great people who asked a lot of great questions while knocking on doors in Bellflower. It was a very nice way to spend a beautiful Sunday afternoon! Kathy and I would like to wish all our family and friends a Happy New Year! We look forward to the new year understanding that the next three months will be very busy as we campaign to become Piatt County’s first state representative since the 1800’s. I still feel strongly that this is the path God has chosen for me, and with hard work and your support, we will achieve this victory and start putting Illinois back to work agin. God bless!
Was privileged to spend Sunday morning enjoying a great breakfast with these fine folks and others at the Leroy Legion after making the rounds with my youngest son on Saturday evening to Aerosmith, Heyworth, and Mansfield legions. Good food and better company. Visiting more great towns in the 101st. People are anxious to put Illinois back to work.
Visiting more great towns in the 101st. People are anxious to put Illinois back to work. Another busy day on the campaign trail! It began early with a breakfast with friends at the Deland Legion. Then it was back to the house for a meeting with Team Keith. Three teams put up signs in all five counties in the 101st today freeing up Kathy and me to knock on doors. Kathy spent time in Argenta while I headed to Macon and then Mount Zion meeting many gracious citizens who expressed their desire to send a factory worker to the state house. When it was almost dark I raced to Heyworth for a spaghetti dinner fundraiser to support their youth baseball program. The place was packed! Enjoyed an excellent meal and had a great time working the room and meeting so many nice folks. All in all it was a very rewarding day!
